Abstract:

In a method for producing an outer cylinder with a needle, a melt-bond process is performed, with a needle tube (3) inserted in a needle insertion hole (41) of a thermoplastic resin outer cylinder (2) and the outer cylinder (2) in an upright position, to melt-bond a base end part (31) of the needle tube (3) to the outer cylinder. The melt-bond process applies energy to the needle tube (3) and heats the needle tube (3) in a portion distal to a base end of the needle insertion hole (41) and the base end of the needle tube to melt resin formed inside the needle insertion hole (41) positioned in the heated portion, causes the molten resin to flow down the needle insertion hole (41), and fills the gap between the base end part outer face of the needle tube (3) and the needle insertion hole.
