Abstract:
The present invention provides an outer package material for electricity storage devices, which is suppressed in deterioration of matte design due to heat sealing, said matte design being achieved by means of a surface coating layer that contains a filler. An outer package material for electricity storage devices, which is composed of a multilayer body that comprises at least a surface coating layer, a base material layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusible resin layer sequentially from the outside, wherein: the surface coating layer contains a resin and a filler; and the hardness of the outer surface of the surface coating layer as determined by a nanoindentation method in an environment at 190°C is 14.5 MPa or more.
