Abstract:
Provided is an output monitoring configuration for a nuclear reactor, which improves the monitoring accuracy and reliability of nuclear thermal hydraulic stability. Specifically provided is an output monitoring device (30) for a nuclear reactor, said output monitoring device being provided with a first calculation unit (42, 52) for calculating a first stability index from time-series data indicating the output vibrations of nuclear instrumentation signals (S) outputted from a plurality of nuclear instrumentation detectors (31) for detecting neutrons in a reactor core, a first determination unit (44, 53) for comparing the first stability index and a first reference value and determining whether the nuclear thermal hydraulic stability of the reactor core is stable or deteriorating, a second calculation unit (47, 54) for calculating a second stability index of the reactor core on the basis of the time-series data when the first determination unit (44, 53) determines that the nuclear thermal hydraulic stability is deteriorating, and a second determination unit (47, 55) for comparing the second stability index and a second reference value and determining whether or not an operation for suppressing the output vibrations is performed.
