Description:
SPECIFICATION

OVEN CONTAINING SUPPORT ELEMENTS FOR HOLDING WIRE SHELVES

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to an oven that includes support elements for mounting and holding wire shelves.

BACKGROUND ART

There are two types of shelves in built-in ovens for placing trays. One is a molded, coated shelf, and the other is a wire shelf. Wire shelves are mounted in holes opened in the side walls of the oven cooking chamber. Each wire shelf mounted in these holes must be under a certain amount of tension. The reason for this is to prevent noise caused by vibrations generated from the turbo fan and ventilation fan inside the oven. Wire shelves mounted under certain tension can crack the enamel around the hole during and after mounting. Cracked enamel can gradually expand and grow over time. In the literature, there is a need for solutions containing clip-like holding elements for holding wire shelves to prevent enamel cracks.

EP1590606 invention relates to a support unit for a cooking device. In the invention, there is a general support unit that can be easily attached and removed from the mounting area and allows simple tolerance compensation. Here, a support unit for a wire shelf in a cooking device (oven) is described, which is fixed in spaces by means of a clip-like spring element.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The object of the invention is to develop an oven containing clip-like flexible and expandable support elements that prevent the cracking of the enamel around the hole where wire shelves mounted under certain tension are installed, during and after mounting.

To achieve the mentioned objective, the invention describes an oven comprising a cooking chamber; one or more mounting areas provided on the side walls located inside the cooking chamber; a slot provided in each mounting area with a predetermined width and depth; and one or more holding elements mounted to fit into the slot and hold the wire shelves to be mounted vertically on the opposite side walls of the cooking chamber. The holding element in the oven has a predetermined shape to support and hold the wire shelves in the cooking chamber and includes one or more tabs that can flexibly open and close in a clip structure, preventing enamel cracks on the side walls while being placed into the slots. Thanks to the clip-structured holding elements, the connection points of the wire shelves do not contact the enamel, preventing enamel scratches or cracks. In addition, the holding elements are easily mounted into the slot without the need for a screw or similar element, thanks to the flexible and openable form of the tabs.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holding element includes one or more legs connected to the openings provided on the opposite end edges of a head. In this way, the connection feet of the wire shelves do not contact the enamel due to the legs of the holding element entering the slot at the bottom.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tabs are of a predetermined shape to be connected to the legs. In this way, the holding element is mounted by fitting the tabs into the slot.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a hole is included on the head. This provides a holding slot for any shelf arrangement intended for use in the oven and containing a connection end that can pass through the hole.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, each wire shelf includes one or more connection feet connected to the free ends of the opposite side wires and a free side edge. In this way, the mounting of the wire shelves into the holes is done with the feet in predetermined shapes

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, each wire shelf is mounted by placing the connection feet into the holes corresponding to each of the holding elements. In this way, the wire shelves are easily mounted in the cooking chamber without contacting the enamel of the side wall by placing the connection feet into the holes. Additionally, the wire shelves can be removed from the holes when desired.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holding element is a single piece of sheet metal. This prevents the occurrence of breakages and similar situations that could occur in a multi-piece element, and the holding element can be easily mounted and secured in the slot. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting area has a circular structure. In this way, a special circular mounting area is created on the side walls of the cooking chamber, eliminating the possibility of wire shelves damaging the enamel.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the slot has a square or rectangular structure. This provides a special slot on the mounting area, allowing the tabs of the holding elements to flex and open into the slot, securing them in place.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, each holding element includes one or more protruding arms connected to the end edges of the head and aligned with the mounting area. This ensures that the holding element is balanced and aligned within the mounting area without extending onto the side wall. Additionally, it ensures that the head of the holding element remains above the mounting area.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject matter of the invention is explained without any limitation and with references to examples only for a better understanding of the subject matter.

Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of an oven according to the invention. In the oven (10) shown in Figure 1 , two opposite side walls (14) are shown in the cooking chamber (12) provided for cooking food. Here, trays must be placed inside the oven (10) for the cooking process. Therefore, a shelf arrangement must be mounted on the side walls (14) to place the trays.

Figure 2 shows the side view of the position of the holding elements holding the wire shelf in the oven according to the invention. In Figure 2, a wire shelf (20) is shown to be mounted on the side wall (14) to provide a shelf arrangement, using one or more holding elements (28). In one configuration of the invention, there is one wire shelf (20) mounted on each opposite side wall (14) in the vertical axis (y), and three holding elements (28) are used on each side wall (14) for mounting each wire shelf (20). Here, the wire shelves (20) are shelf arrangements that hold the cooking trays to be placed in the cooking chamber (12) in the horizontal axis (x) between the wires. In addition, the holding elements (28) also act as elements that support and hold the wire shelves (20). Each holding element (28) is made of a single piece of sheet metal. Thus, breakage and similar situations that may occur in a multipiece element do not occur in the holding elements (28). In one configuration of the invention, the holding element (28) is designed in a predetermined form to support and hold the wire shelves (20) in the cooking chamber (12). Also, in Figure 2, one or more mounting areas (16) are provided on the side walls (14). Preferably, there are as many mounting elements (16) on the side walls (14) as there are holding elements (28). Each wire shelf (20) has one or more connecting legs (26) that allow it to be mounted in such a way that it corresponds to one hole (42) of each holding element (28) and is placed through the hole. In one configuration of the invention, there are three connecting legs (26) on each wire shelf (20). Thus, the wire shelf (20) is mounted with multiple connecting legs (26) corresponding to the holes (42). Here, each connecting leg (26) is connected to the free ends (23) of the opposing side wires (22) on the wire shelf (20) and to a free lateral edge (24). In one configuration of the invention, the connecting legs (26) are connected to two opposing wire ends (23) on the upper and lower sides of a lateral wire (22) and to an area in the middle of a free lateral edge (24), for example. In addition, in one configuration of the invention, the wire shelves (20) can be removed from the holes (42).

Figure 3, Figure 4, and Figure 5 show the holding element. In Figure 3, the front view of the holding element (28) is shown, in Figure 4 the side view, and in Figure 5 the isometric view of the holding element is provided. The holding element (28) has a head (30) on its upper part. The hole (42) in the holding element (28) is opened above the head. Also, the head (30) includes openings (34) formed at its opposite edge ends (32). One or more legs (36) (38) are connected to the openings (34). In one configuration of the invention, the legs (36) (38) connected to the openings (34) are two in total, comprising a first leg (36) and a second leg (38). Each holding element leg (36) (38) has flexible and expandable tabs (40) designed in a predetermined form. Here, each holding element (28) includes two opposite tabs (40). Also, the tabs (40) can flexibly open and expand in a clip-like structure, which prevents enamel cracks on the side walls (14) when the holding element (28) is placed inside the slot (18). This allows the holding element (28) to be easily mounted due to the flexibility and expansion of the tabs (40). The hole (42) shown in Figure 5 has a predetermined width on each holding element (28) to provide a mounting line. Thus, a holding slot is provided for any shelf arrangement containing a connecting end that can pass through the hole (42) inside the oven (10). In one configuration of the invention, one or more protruding arms (44) (46) connected to the edge ends (32) of the head (30) and corresponding to the mounting area (16) are present. Preferably, there is a first protruding arm (44) and a second protruding arm (46) of a predetermined length, connected to the opposite edge ends (32). This ensures that the head (30) of the holding element stays above the mounting area (16).

In Figure 6 and Figure 7, the holding element mounted in the oven of the invention is shown from the side. In Figure 6 and Figure 7, the slot (18) provided in the mounting area (16) with a predetermined width and depth is shown. Here, the holding elements (28) are mounted by placing them inside the slots (18) provided in each mounting area (16). In one configuration of the invention, the connection legs (26) of each wire shelf (20) are mounted into the slots (18) through the holes (42) by aligning them with the holding elements (28). In one configuration of the invention, a total of three mounting areas (16) are provided for each holding element on each side wall (14). Here, the tabs (40) located on the first leg and the second leg (36) (38) connected to the head (30) of the holding element (28) securely pass through the slot (18), preventing the holding element (28) from coming out of the slot (18). In Figure 7, the flexible opening and closing of the tabs (40) during the mounting of the holding element (28) to the mounting area (16) is shown. Here, the holding element (28) is mounted by narrowing the tabs (40) inward into the slot (18) and then expanding them to fit approximately within the slot (18). In one configuration of the invention, the mounting area (16) has a circular structure, and the slot (18) is square or rectangular, preferably rectangular. Also, the first protruding arm and the second protruding arm (44) (46) correspond to the mounting area (16) and mount the holding element (28). As a result, the entry of the head (30) of the holding element (28) into the slot (18) due to a possible force is prevented, and the holding element (28) is kept balanced and aligned within the mounting area (16) without overflowing onto the side wall (14).

The mounting method of the holding element (28) and the wire shelf (20) in the oven of the invention is given below:

• The holding element (28) is aligned on the mounting area (16) on the side wall (14).

• The holding element (28) is pushed into the slot (18) in the mounting area (16). • During the pushing into the slot (18), the fitting of the holding element (28) into the slot (18) is ensured by the flexible opening and closing of the tabs (40).

• The holding element (28) is supported on the mounting area (16) with the protruding arms (44) (46).

• Approximately, the multiple connection legs (26) of the wire shelf (20) are aligned with the holes (42) of each holding element (24) on the side wall (14), and each connection leg (26) is mounted by placing it into the hole (42) it corresponds to.

The holding element (28) provided in the oven of the invention offers the following advantages:

• While the wire shelves (20) are attached to the side wall (14) in the cooking chamber (12) without any apparatus, they may scratch and/or crack the enamel in the cooking chamber (12). With the holding element (28) provided here, the connection legs (26) of the wire shelves (20) do not contact the enamel.

• Since no screws or similar parts are used, mounting ease is provided.

• The radius structure of the hole (42) located in the middle of the holding element (28) facilitates the mounting of the wire shelf (20).
