Abstract:
Provided is an oven-controlled crystal oscillator featuring a short operation stabilization time and low power consumption. Oven-controlled crystal oscillators 1 to 1H according to the present invention include: a crystal oscillation element 10, 10A, 10C, 10G provided with an IT-cut crystal piece 11, 11A, 11C, 11G; an oscillation control circuit 22 which controls the oscillation frequency of the crystal oscillation element; and a temperature regulator 50, 50A, 50C, 50G, 50H which repeats heating and cooling of the crystal oscillation element to thereby regulate the temperature of the crystal oscillation element to be within a set temperature range; a heat conducting plate 60, 60A, 60C, 60E, 60G, 60H which functions as a heat absorbing plate and a heat dissipating plate for the temperature regulator; a temperature control circuit 24 which controls the temperature of the temperature regulator; and a housing 30, 30A, 30E, 30F, 30H which accommodates the crystal oscillation element. The housing demarcates an oscillation element accommodation space 31c, 31Ac, 31Ec, 31Fc, 31Gc, and 31Hc in which the crystal oscillation element is accommodated, on the inner side of the housing.
