Abstract:
An over-discharge prevention device according to an embodiment of the present invention relates to a device for preventing over-discharge of a battery pack provided in a vehicle, the device comprising: a measurement unit configured to measure a voltage of a main battery provided in the battery pack according to an operation mode; and a control unit configured to determine an operating state of a charging/discharging relay connected to the main battery, and control the operation mode of the measurement unit on the basis of at least one of the determined operating state of the charging/discharging relay, whether the vehicle is stopped, and the voltage of the main battery measured by the measurement unit.
