Abstract:
The present invention provides an overcoat ink which is capable of forming an overcoat layer that has high lubricity on the surface of a recorded material. An overcoat ink for forming an overcoat layer on the surface of a recorded material, the overcoat ink containing at least a resin, an organic solvent and water. With respect to this overcoat ink, the resin contains (a) a resin having a glass transition temperature of 20°C or more and/or (b) a styrene acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of 6°C or more.
