Abstract:
The present invention relates to an overcurrent protection circuit and an overcurrent protection method. The overcurrent protection circuit and method involve: sampling a current that flows through a compressor controller, and converting the current into a sampling voltage; comparing the sampling voltage with an overcurrent protection threshold value, and when the sampling voltage is greater than the overcurrent protection threshold value, generating an overcurrent determination signal; generating a first trigger signal according to the overcurrent determination signal; generating an overcurrent shutdown signal according to the first trigger signal; shutting down the operation of the compressor controller according to the overcurrent shutdown signal; and generating a first set signal, and locking the overcurrent shutdown signal on the basis of the first set signal and the first trigger signal. Thus, shutdown of a compressor controller can be maintained, such that overcurrent protection for a device is realized.
