Abstract:
An overcurrent protection method and a display device. The overcurrent protection method comprises: obtaining a peak current during normal operation of an operating circuit (S110); determining a comparison current according to the peak current obtained during the normal operation and a preset lookup table (S120); detecting a current of the operating circuit in real time during actual operation (S130); comparing the current during the actual operation with the determined comparison current (S140); and outputting a control signal according to a comparison result so as to control on/off of a power supply providing power for the operating circuit (S150).
