Abstract:
This overcurrent relay (30) is provided with: an overcurrent detection unit (100) that compares the effective value of input current input from a power system with a set value, thereby detecting overcurrent; a lowering detection unit (110) that detects the lowering of the effective value; and an output control unit (130) that generates an operation output and a restoration output on the basis of the detection result of the overcurrent detection unit (100), the detection result of the lowering detection unit (110), and a predetermined condition on the current waveform of the input current. When the lowering of the effective value is detected and if the predetermined condition is satisfied, the output control unit (130) generates the restoration output regardless of the detection result by the overcurrent detection unit (100).
