Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an overheat treatment method and apparatus. The method comprises: when a timer is forbidden to operate according to an overheat indication, determining whether an overheat problem caused by radio configuration is solved; and if the overheat problem is solved when the timer is forbidden to operate according to the overheat indication, sending target signaling to a base station, the target signaling being signaling used for informing the base station that the overheat problem of a terminal is already solved. In the present disclosure, if a terminal already solves an overheat problem when a timer is forbidden to operate according to an overheat indication, the terminal can inform, by means of target signaling, a base station that the overheat problem of the terminal is already solved, thereby avoiding the problem that the transmission capability of the terminal is reduced resulting from the base station still sending new radio configuration information to the terminal.
