Abstract:
Provided is an overload prevention mechanism which can be manufactured with high accuracy while requiring relatively little time and effort, and which can suppress inclination and rotational-direction rattling of a weighing tray. The mechanism comprises: a load receiving part (21) provided with a flange having at least three ribs (17) on the upper surface of the flange; a pedestal (31) located below the load receiving part (21); an elastic body (47) which has one end in contact with the load receiving part (21) and the other end in contact with the pedestal (31), and which biases the load receiving part (21) and the pedestal (31) in such a direction that the load receiving part (21) and the pedestal (31) are separated from each other; and a connection member (37) having on the lower surface thereof recessed grooves (45) which engage with the ribs (17). At least one of the ribs (17) is arranged at each side of an arbitrary virtual center line passing through the center (O) of the load receiving part (21).
