Abstract:

In the production of agricultural and horticultural crops, damage by pests and the like is still significant, and development of a novel pesticide for agricultural and horticultural use is desired because of the emergence of pests that are resistant to existing chemicals, and the like. Provided, as a solution, are: an oxazepine compound represented by general formula (I) or a salt thereof; a pesticide for agricultural and horticultural use, which contains the oxazepine compound or a salt thereof as an active ingredient; and a method for using the pesticide for agricultural and horticultural use. (In the formula, R1, R2, R3 and R4 may be the same as or different from each other and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group or the like; R5 and R6 may be the same as or different from each other and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or alternatively, R5 and R6 represent, together with a carbon atom to which R5 and R6 are bonded, an optionally substituted phenyl group, a pyridyl group or the like; R7 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkynyl group, a cyanoalkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or the like; Y represents an oxygen atom, S, NH or the like; Y1 represents C=O, C=S, a CH2 group or the like; A represents a CH group or the like; and m represents 0 or 1.)
