Title:
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING OPTICALLY ACTIVE $g(b)-AMINO ACID DERIVATIVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/024628
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A process for industrially advantageously producing efficiently and easily a $g(b)-amino acid derivative having a high optical purity. The process for producing an optically active $g(b)-amino acid derivative is characterized in that any one of optical isomers of an acid salt of a $g(b)-amino acid derivative represented by the general formula (1) is selectively crystallized from a solution of a mixture of the optical isomers to thereby obtain crystals containing the optical isomer salt in a higher proportion.
