Abstract:
The first, second, and third alignment conveyors of a package conveying device according to an embodiment of this invention receive a plurality of packages being conveyed in an irregular array in the conveying direction and in a direction that intersects the conveying direction, and convey the packages in the first, second, and third directions, respectively, while aligning the packages to one side. Furthermore, the first, second, and third auxiliary conveyor belts of this package conveying device are provided on the package alignment side of the first, second, and third alignment conveyors, exert conveying forces on the packages in the first, second, and third directions, respectively, and have conveying speeds different from those of the first, second, and third alignment conveyors.
