The present invention is a packaging bag (10) that is made from a film, wherein: a pair of folded-in sections (13), which are folded inward from the two side edges running along the depth direction, is formed; in both side regions (12a), etc. running along the width direction, the folded-in sections (13) and the areas forming the valleys (13a), etc. of the folded-in sections (13) are each sealed by bringing together the back surfaces of the film; an incision (seal-opening starting point) (14) is provided at a position that does not overlap with either the leading edge of the joint section of the outer surface of said packaging bag (10) or the folded-in sections (13); guiding lines (15) are provided from the incision toward one side edge (12c) that runs along the depth direction and away from the edge of one end region (12a); and sub-guiding lines (16) connecting the leading ends of the guiding lines (15) are provided to run along the depth direction. The invention provides a packaging bag, which is applicable in a broad range of bag-making machines with simple processing and the seal of which can be opened easily without tearing the folded-in sections while limiting effects on bag strength.
