Abstract:
A packaging base according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a corrugated-board base material, a reinforcing square material, and a placement plate. The placement plate has a support surface that faces upward and that extends in a longitudinal direction. A section of a bottom surface of the reinforcing square material is supported by the support surface. The corrugated-board base material has: first handle sections that are bent upward from both ends of a bottom surface section in a lateral direction; side surface sections that are bent upward from both ends of the bottom surface section in a longitudinal direction and that are opposed to ends of the reinforcing square material at positions farther on the outside than the ends of the reinforcing square material in the longitudinal direction; upper surface sections that are bent inward in the longitudinal direction from ends of the side surface sections and that cover upper surfaces of the ends of the reinforcing square material in the longitudinal direction, the bottom surface of the reinforcing square material being supported by the support surface; second handle sections that are bent downward from both ends of the upper surface sections in the lateral direction and that are overlaid on the first handle sections, which are bent upward, from outer sides in the lateral direction; and insertion pieces that are bent inward in the lateral direction from outer ends of the second handle sections in the longitudinal direction and that are inserted between the side surface sections and the first handle sections in the longitudinal direction.
