Description:
PACKAGING FOR MARGARINE AND ITS DERIVATIVES

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to the packaging of the margarine and its derivatives, which is metallized-coated by spraying or stripping on the shape memory polyethylene film and production method thereof.

PRIOR ART

Packaging is a valuable material that protects the product put in it, provides it to the users in the cleanest and most reliable conditions, facilitates transportation and storage.

Food packaging is in direct contact with food products and is used to protect the food product from production until it is delivered to the user. The packaging protects the food from external factors, deterioration, contamination or foreign matter entering into it.

Its main function is to protect and preserve the product and provide information such as expiration date, production date, batch number and nutritional values. The most common types of packaging used in food products are glass containers, vacuum packs, plastic packaging, metal packaging, layered packaging and juice boxes.

Some of the packaging materials are combined to produce composite packaging materials. One of the most preferred of these materials is metallized films. Metallized films are generally obtained by metal coating of plastic film surfaces in metallization machines. The most preferred method in metallization process is performed by evaporation of aluminum in a very large vacuum environment. Plastic film is covered with aluminum vapor formed on ceramic rods heated by resistance under low pressure. The very thin layer of aluminum condensing on the plastic film here gives the film a barrier feature against light, water vapor, oxygen and other gases. The durability of thus metallized plastic is increased and long-term performance of the obtained packaging material is ensured. In the patent document with application number EP0365326, the invention is summarized as “A composite plastic film includes a plastic inner layer (1), such as a polyester or polypropylene film with a metallic layer (2) on one side, and polyethylene film layers (3, 5) fixed on both ends of the interior. Composite film packaging is particularly useful for food packaging. It is more advantageous than the conventional metallized film in that it enables the polyethylene layer on both sides of the film to be used in processes such as bag sealing machines where it is necessary to heat-adhere one surface of the film to the other surface.”

The present invention includes a metallized-coated food packaging and its structure. When this structure is examined, metallized coated polyethylene with shape memory and the application of metallized coating on polyethylene by spraying or stripping method are not mentioned.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the packaging of margarine and its derivatives, which is metallized coated by spraying or stripping onto the shape memory polyethylene film developed to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and bring new advantages to the relevant technical field and production method thereof.

The main purpose of the invention is to obtain the packaging used in margarine and its derivatives from shape memory polyethylene film developed by metallized coating extrusion blow molding method.

Another objective of the invention is to ensure that the polyethylene is not folded like paper due to its shape memory.

Another objective of the invention is to metallize coat the polyethylene film by spraying or stripping.

Since the raw material used in the packaging of the margarine and its derivatives is high density polyethylene (HDPE), the packaging obtained may remain as it is after being folded due to its shape memory. In the production of the polyethylene of the present invention, the process with the formulation added in the dosing extruder continues in a mixture.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the packaging of the margarine and its derivatives according to the invention is explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without rendering any limiting effect.

The method of producing the shape memory polyethylene film used in the packaging of margarine and derivatives of the present invention includes;

Taking polyethylene raw material in granules and melting in the range of 150- 200 ° C before extrusion,

- Adding into the formulation in dosing extruder,

Of the 5-screw extruder:

• Bringing A-E screws to 195-205 ° C and B-C-D screws to 200-210 ° C temperature range,

• Bringing A-E screws to 40-45 rpm and B-C-D screws to 70-80 rpm rotation range,

• Bringing A-E screws to 180-190 bar and B-C-D screws to 340-440 bar pressure range,

Producing in the extruder machine with 64% of external cooling fan, 49.2% of blowing air fan, 52.5% of suction air fan,

Slowly closing the product which is passed through a cooling circle while the raw materials are ascending as bubbles by guiding with a guide roller or plates and packing it in a coil as a double-jacket film after cooling.

In the dosing extruder:

- 93% HDPE 5% ANTISTATIC 2% PROCESS ADMIXTURE MATERIAL (PE)

- 75% HDPE 20% MASTERBATCH 5% ANTISTATIC

- 75% HDPE 20% MASTERBATCH 5% ANTISTATIC

- 75% HDPE 20% MASTERBATCH 5% ANTISTATIC

- 93% HDPE 20% MASTERBATCH 5% ANTISTATIC

- %93 HDPE 5% ANTISTATIC 2% PROCESS ADMIXTURE MATERIAL (PE) formulation is added. With the formulation added in the dosing extruder, the process continues as a mixture.

The shape memory polyethylene film obtained by the above-mentioned process steps and formulation is metallized coated by the spraying or stripping method.

The metallized stripping method is applied by leaving polyethylene terephthalate (pet), which has become lean by the metallized remaining on this group, after laminating or coating the metallized polyester. The product obtained by this method is polyethylene covered with metallization.

The packaging of the margarine and its derivatives according to the invention is more durable and longer lasting by metallizing the polyethylene after passing through said processing steps.
