Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application belong to the technical field of communications, and disclose a packet forwarding method and apparatus and a network system. The method comprises: when sending a first packet, a first CPE may perform underlay encapsulation and overlay encapsulation on the first packet, wherein an underlay tunnel is an end-to-end tunnel between the first CPE and a second CPE, and a second destination address in overlay tunnel encapsulation may be the address of GW. It can be seen that in the present application, an end-to-end underlay tunnel may be established between the first CPE and the second CPE, and the underlay tunnel may, on the basis of establishing the interworking between the first CPE and the GW on an overlay tunnel, pass through a backbone network by means of the GW and then arrive at the second CPE. In the foregoing manner, the underlay tunnel is an end-to-end tunnel, so that by means of SLA quality detection, automatic switching can be implemented on the basis of SLA quality between the underlay tunnel and other end-to-end tunnels.
