Abstract:
An embodiment of the present application provides a packet processing method. A first node transmits to a second node a first packet carrying target data, an identifier of the target data, and a first forwarding instruction. After receiving the first packet, the second node forwards, according to the first forwarding instruction, the first packet to a third node, and stores the target data and a mapping relationship between the identifier of the target data and the target data. When the first node transmits the target data to a fourth node, the target data does not need to be transmitted to the second node, and instead, a second packet carrying the identifier of the target data and a second forwarding instruction is transmitted to the second node. After the second node receives the second packet, according to the second forwarding instruction and the identifier of the target data, the target data corresponding to the identifier of the target data is added in the second packet, and the second packet carrying the target data is transmitted to the fourth node, thereby effectively reducing a bandwidth required for data transmission between the first node and the second node.
