Abstract:
The present invention provides a packing method which enables a band to be cut at a correct position. In this method: a band 70 divided into blocks 71, each having a necessary longitudinal length L for packing an object to be packed once, is used; and a mark 74 is provided at a predetermined position on each block 71 of the band 70 such that a boundary part 73 between adjoining blocks 71, 71 can be placed over a cutting blade 37 provided for a sealing unit 30 when the mark 74 is detected at a detection position 95 located on a band conveyance path of a packing machine 1. The boundary part 73 is placed over the cutting blade 37 by carrying out positioning processing, in which the band 70 is pulled back by a roller unit 20 from a state where the band 70 has been sent out until at least one boundary part 73 has passed over the cutting blade 37, and the pullback is ended in a state where the mark 74 is detected at the detection position, such that the band 70 can always be cut correctly at the boundary part 73.
