Abstract:
The invention relates to a packing paper for food, which eliminates the possibility that while a packed food or the like such as cooked rice is conveyed and stored, vapor generated from food or the like condenses on the inner face of a packing paper and a container or the like and condensed water again adheres to food or the like to spoil the taste thereof. The packing paper is such that paper having a water absorbing property and nonwoven fabric having gas permeability and composed of synthetic fiber are stuck together with a film of thermoplastic synthetic resin which has through holes over the entire surface thereof. In manufacturing the packing paper, paper having coarse surfaces with irregularities and nonwoven fabric are stuck together by allowing a molten thermoplastic synthetic resin to flow down from a T-die with the use of an extrusion laminator. A speed, at which the paper and nonwoven fabric are stuck together at this time, is controlled to be higher than a speed, at which the molten resin flows down from the T-die, and a sticking pressure between a pressure roll and a chill roll is regulated to be greater than a pressure at the time of manufacturing a conventional laminate paper. Accordingly, a layer of the molten resin is perforated by irregular surface of the paper.
