Abstract:
The invention relates to a palletising device (10) comprising a deposition line (50) provided with a continuous conveyor belt (52) defining a transport surface (53) for transporting layers of articles (15), and a compressing device (80) comprising at least one front-side abutment (81) and one rear-side abutment (82), wherein the deposition line (50) is arranged such that it is movable in a longitudinal direction (X) in relation to the compressing device (80), between a first longitudinal position in which the transport surface (53) is offset in the longitudinal direction (X) in relation to the compressing device (80), and a second longitudinal position in which a layer of articles (15) arranged on the transport surface (53) is arranged between the abutments (81, 82) in the longitudinal direction (X). The deposition line (50) comprises a first deflecting pulley (61) that is rotatable about a first axis of rotation (71), wherein a diameter of the first deflection pulley (61) amounts to a maximum of 2% of the width of the conveyor belt (52). The invention also relates to a control device for controlling the deposition line (50), which is designed to drive the continuous conveyor belt (52) at speeds that are modifiable such that, when the deposition line (50) moves from the second longitudinal position into the first longitudinal position, the layer of articles (15) on the transport surface (53) is chronologically successively pressed against the front-side abutment (1) and against the rear-side abutment (82). The invention further relates to a method for operating a palletising device (10) according to the invention.
