Abstract:
The present invention provides a pan head with which it is possible to improve operability. A pan head (1) is provided with a pan head main body (21) that is attached to an upper end portion of a support (8) of a tripod (3), and an operation body (23) that is rotatable with respect to the pan head main body (21). The operation body (23) is put into a left-hand use state of being grasped with a left hand by an operator, a right-hand use state of being grasped with a right hand by the operator, and an unused state of being located parallel to legs of the tripod (3). The operation body (23) is longitudinally shaped, and extendable and contractible in the longitudinal direction.
