Abstract:
The present invention is applicable to the technical field of image processing, and provides a panoramic video transmission method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a first projection image of a region of interest of a client user on the basis of a current panoramic video frame, encoding the first projection image and the current panoramic video frame having reduced resolution, and sending same to the client. Thus, the network resource overhead and the transmission delay in a panoramic video transmission process are reduced, and the definition of the region of interest is ensured.
