Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a paper barrier material that has superior bending tolerance. As a solution to this problem, the present invention provides a paper barrier material that is characterized by having a plurality of gas barrier layers that are layered in a neighboring fashion on a paper substrate, wherein a gas barrier layer that is located in an uppermost section includes a water-soluble polymer and has a pigment content of 15 wt% or less by dry weight, and at least one layer among the other gas barrier layers includes a water-soluble polymer and a pigment and has a higher pigment content than the gas barrier layer that is located in the uppermost section.
