The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a problem in which paper fed into spaces between an upper guide and regulation guides in the paper-width direction becomes folded, without generating obstacles to opening/closing operations of a printer cover. Elastic pressure-applying members (30) are respectively provided to left-and-right side surfaces of an upper guide (21). Protruded structures (31), which protrude towards sides of side-surface guides (23) provided at both ends of a paper conveyance path in the paper-width direction, are provided to the pressure-applying members (30). The outer width of the upper guide (21) including the protruded structures (31) of the pressure-applying members (30) is configured so as to be greater than the inner width (W) of the side-surface guides (23) at both ends, and thus, when a printer cover (15) is shut, the upper guide (21) is always positioned substantially in the centre of the inner width (W) of the side-surface guides (23) as a result of the action of the pressure-applying members (30), and the upper guide (21) in the middle of the inner width (W) of the side-surface guides (23) is drawn closer to one side in the paper-width direction, thereby preventing the formation of a large space at the other side of the guide member (21) in the paper-width direction.
