Abstract:
A paper cutting device with a receiving wood, comprising a cutter (3) having a paper retainer (2) lowering from the upper side along vertical rails (19, 19) and diagonally rising from the lower side to cut off multiple sheets of paper stackingly placed on a table. The paper retainer (2) further comprises the receiving wood (18) for receiving the blade of the cutter. The device also comprises a function to move the receiving wood (18) by a specified pitch when the number of strokes of the cutter (3) reaches a specified value. As a result, even if the edge of the cutter bites in the receiving wood and the receiving wood is deteriorated, the receiving wood must not be replaced immediately. Since the life of the receiving wood is increased, the number of sheets of paper to be cut before the replacement can be remarkably increased.
