Abstract:
The present invention relates to a paper feeding apparatus of an office automation equipment capable of smoothly transferring the driving force of an electromagnetic clutch to a guide shaft while allowing the leading edge of a trailing paper to be held between guide rollers, and having a pick-up roller and a guide roller for transferring the driving force to a pick-up roller side, wherein the guide roller is rotatably fitted to the guide shaft which is connected to the electromagnetic clutch for controlling the driving force of a drive motor, a drive gear for transferring the driving force of the drive motor to the pick-up roller side is rotatably fitted to the guide shaft, the guide roller and the drive gear being connected to each other, the pick-up roller is rotatably fitted to a pick-up shaft, a driven gear for receiving the drive of the drive gear is rotatably fitted to the pick-up shaft, the pick-up roller and the driven gear being connected to each other, an idler gear for transferring the driving force of the drive gear to the driven gear and simultaneously, matching the rotational direction of the guide roller with the rotational direction of the pick-up roller, is disposed between the drive gear and the driven gear, the guide roller or the drive gear is equipped with a one-way bearing for rotation only in the direction of the paper feed, and the pick-up roller or the driven gear is equipped with another one-way bearing for rotation only in the direction of the paper feed.
