Abstract:
This aims to facilitate the replacement or maintenance of belt-shaped paper and to cope with the load of a tension to occur in the belt-shaped backing paper, even if the tension becomes relatively high, thereby to stabilize the tension control of the belt-shaped backing paper. Springs (74) of a damper mechanism (70), which has damper members to be moved forward and backward by the tension change to occur in the belt-shaped backing paper (D), include a first coil spring (74A) for acting from the beginning of the backward movement of a moving member (73) having the damper member, and a second coil spring (74B) for acting when the backward distance of the moving member (73) becomes a predetermined distance. These first and second coil springs are mounted on rod-shaped guide rails (76), which are erected on a base member (72) for guiding the moving member (73). A damper member driving unit is provided for shifting the damper member from a bearing effective position to a bearing ineffective position on the basis of a save signal from signal sending means and for shifting the damper member from the bearing ineffective position to the bearing effective position on the basis of a return signal from the signal sending means.
