Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: paper for flexible packaging, the paper being able to be manufactured in the form of a bag using a bag-manufacturing machine; and flexible packaging in which the paper for flexible packaging is used. As a solution to this problem, there is provided paper for flexible packaging having a paper base material and at least one heat-seal layer located on an outermost surface, the paper base material having a thickness of 25-100 μm inclusive, the ratio of pulp to total paper-manufacturing fiber included in the paper base material exceeding 90 wt%, and at least any one of conditions (1) to (4) being met. (1) The hysteresis 2HB of flexing in an MD direction according to KES is 0.02-1.2 g⋅cm/cm inclusive. (2) The flexural rigidity B in the MD direction according to KES ranges from 0.16 g⋅cm2/cm to 1.8 g⋅cm2/cm inclusive. (3) The other surface of the paper base material is exposed, and the (Oken-type) smoothness of the exposed surface is 50-700 sec inclusive. (4) The Young's modulus in the MD direction is 3-15 GPa inclusive.
