Abstract:
A paper pay-out device (10) is provided with the following: a placement part (1) on which a plurality of pieces of paper (P) are placed widthwise; a pay-out roller (2) that pays out pieces of paper (P) from the placement part (1); a pay-out motor (7) that rotates said pay-out roller (2) in a pay-out direction (Y); a separating roller (4); a support protrusion (5) provided on the axial side of the pay-out roller (2), on the placement-part (1) side; and a pressing plate (8) that presses the pieces of paper (P) on the placement part (1) up against the pay-out roller (2) and the support protrusion (5). One piece of paper (P) at a time is sandwiched between the pay-out roller (2) and the separating roller (4). A plurality of rotatable barrel-shaped sub-rollers (3) that have axes of rotation (3a) perpendicular to the axis of rotation (2a) of the pay-out roller (2) and have surfaces with high coefficients of friction with respect to the pieces of paper (P) are provided around the pay-out roller (2).
