[PROBLEMS] To provide a paper picture frame having such features that the easiness of handling such as the replacement of a work is far excellent more than that of conventional wooden facilitated picture frames, its weight and cost are low, and problems with refuse treatment after disposal can also be solved rather easily. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Margin members (20) bent in square gutter shape are put on four side edge parts of a core panel (10) formed of a square lightweight board of honeycomb-like structure. A stay plate-like spacer (30) for forming an insert space (S) for inserting therein the peripheral edge parts of the work such as photos, pictures, and calligraphy is installed between the upper surface of the core panel and the margin members (20A) on three of four sides of the core panel, and a square frame-like mounting plate (40) is stacked on the upper surface of the margin members on three sides of the core panel to join these members to each other. The separate margin member (20B) on the remaining one side is formed detachable so that the work can be inserted into and extracted from the insert space (S) from the one side of the core panel. A set of right and left string hanging pieces (22) are formed on the lower surface pieces (b) of the margin members (20) in a raised state so as to be raised in the pulled direction of a suspending string (23).
