Abstract:
This paper sheet conveyance device includes: an intermediate conveyance unit that is provided between a first unit and a second unit and that passes through paper sheets; a first inlet and a first outlet that are provided in the first unit; a first conveyance means that is provided in the first unit and that accepts paper sheets from the first inlet and feeds paper sheets from the first outlet; a second inlet and a second outlet that are provided in the intermediate conveyance unit; and a second conveyance means that is provided in the intermediate conveyance unit and that accepts paper sheets from the second inlet and feeds paper sheets from the second outlet; wherein the first inlet and the second outlet are disposed to be facing each other, the first inlet is formed to have a larger opening than the second outlet, the second inlet and the first outlet are disposed to be facing each other, and the second inlet is formed to have a larger opening than the first outlet.
