Abstract:
This paper sheet detection device comprises: a light source unit which irradiates paper leaves with light; a light receiving unit which receives first light and second light having different wavelength bands, which are emitted from the light source unit and reflected by the paper leaves, outputs a first image signal on the basis of the first light, and outputs a second image signal on the basis of the second light; and a control unit which generates a first reflected image on the basis of the first image signal, generates a second reflected image on the basis of the second image signal, and determines the correctness and loss of the paper leaves, on the basis of a first intensity, which is the intensity of the predetermined location in the first reflected image, and a second intensity, which is the intensity of the predetermined location in the second reflected image.
