Title:
PAPER SHEET HANDLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/119495
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A paper sheet handling device (100) comprises: a plurality of raisable/lowerable partitioning members that have a first partitioning member (11) and a second partitioning member (12) which is disposed below the first partitioning member (11), and that form an accommodation space for a paper sheet (B); a guide (2) that is fixed to the first partitioning member and that extends downward; a first stopper (7a) that contacts the first partitioning member at the lower limit position of the first partitioning member; and a pressing part (3) that is fixed to the second partitioning member and that raises the first partitioning member integrally with the second partitioning member with frictional force caused by pressing the guide. After the second partitioning member is lowered integrally with the first partitioning member and the first partitioning member contacts the first stopper, the second partitioning member is lowered, against the frictional force and independently of the first partitioning member, to a position at which the pressing part is opposite from a recessed part (2a) that releases the frictional force. Once the pressing part rises from a position at which the pressing part is opposite from the recessed part to a position at which the guide part is no longer opposite from the recessed part, the second partitioning member rises integrally with the first partitioning member due to the frictional force.
