Abstract:
This paper sheet processing device, which identifies paper sheets such as banknotes such that data for updating identification data can be acquired from the paper sheets circulating in the market, is configured from: an identification unit for identifying the paper sheets; an operation unit for instructing that data collection processing be executed; a control unit which, in the data collection processing executed after an instruction operation from the operation unit is received, collects data from paper sheets for which correct identification results cannot be obtained by the identification unit; and a storage unit for saving the data collected by the control unit.
