Abstract:
When a banknote is put in, the banknote is determined to be a true one or false one (S11). If the banknote is determined to be suspectible for a false one (S12 and Y), it is determined whether the sled position of the banknote is parallel to the carrying direction (S13). If it is parallel, the banknote is returned to a put−in port, and a message appears to prompt a user to put in the banknote again by changing the put−in direction of the banknote by 90 degrees (S14). Presence&sol absence of the sled of the banknote is determined according to an image of the replaced banknote (S15).
