Abstract:
Disclosed is a papermaking apparatus comprising: a wet paper web forming section (32) for forming a wet paper web (64); a water removal section (33) which has a water removal belt (55) and removes water from the wet paper web (64);
a drying section (34) which has a drying belt (56) and dries the wet paper web; and a transfer section (300) for transferring the wet paper web (64) from the water removal belt (55) to the drying belt (56). The transfer section (300) has at least one pair of water removal rollers (334) for holding the water removal belt (55) and the drying belt (56) therebetween and pressing the wet paper web (64) between the two belts.
