Abstract:
Provided is a parasol that can be easily installed in various places, that can be used as a sunshade or a rainshade, and that has a packaging size reduced by adopting a dividable shaft, thereby achieving a transportation cost reduction. Provided is a parasol comprising: one shaft in the form of a tension pole to be disposed between a ceiling surface and a floor surface of a building; a lower runner that has the shaft penetrating therethrough and that is movable in an up-down direction along the shaft; an upper runner fixed to a predetermined position on the shaft; two or more ribs connected to the upper runner; struts that connect the ribs and the lower runner, the struts being provided in one-to-one correspondence with the ribs; a handle operation part for moving the lower runner along the shaft; and a sheet provided across the ribs. The shaft is dividable into at least an outer tube, a ceiling tube that is attached to an upper side of the outer tube, and a lower tube that is attached to a lower side of the outer tube. The length of the shaft in the up-down direction is adjustable with the position of the sheet kept at a height in a specific range from the floor surface.
