Abstract:
A parity block generation method and apparatus. The method comprises: for a plurality of original data blocks with parity blocks thereof that are to be generated, determining a global coding matrix of the plurality of original data blocks (102); for each local domain that is obtained by means of dividing the plurality of original data blocks, determining a local coding matrix of the local domain on the basis of the global coding matrix (104), wherein each local domain comprises an original data block that belongs to the local domain; and on the basis of the global coding matrix, generating a global parity block of the plurality of original data blocks, and on the basis of the local coding matrix of each local domain, generating a local reconstruction parity block of each local domain, such that the global parity block has a derivation relationship with the local reconstruction parity block of each local domain (106). On the basis of the derivation relationship, the recovery of a lost parity block may be realized by means of a parity block that is not lost, thereby reducing the flow and time that are consumed for acquiring an original data block, optimizing the generation means of a parity block, and improving the data recovery efficiency.
