Abstract:
The present invention discloses particles each comprising: a hydrophobic part which contains a hydrophobic monomer unit and has a cationic group; and a hydrophilic part which contains at least a hydrophilic monomer unit that is represented by formula (I). A stable emulsion composition can be formed with use of these particles, without using a surfactant; and the present disclosure can provide particles with high versatility. These particles can be used for the formation of a Pickering emulsion; and in particular, these particles can be widely used in the fields of cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and the like, which come into direct contact with the human body.
