Abstract:
According to the present invention, an escalator is provided with: a truss having a first truss end and a second truss end; a first support device for supporting the first truss end; and a second support device for supporting the second truss end. The first support device can be switched between a first retention state and a first release state. In addition, the second support device can be switched between a second retention state and a second release state. In the escalator, the first retention state of the first support device and/or the second retention state of the second support device is takes place.
