Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of multimedia. Disclosed are a patch video playing method and terminal, and a video server. The method comprises: determining, after a playing operation of an off-line video is detected, a current network connection state of a terminal; determining, when the terminal is in a first connection state, an appointed patch video corresponding to the off-line video in a plurality of patch videos acquired by the terminal; and playing the appointed patch video in a playing process of the off-line video. When a terminal plays an off-line video in a non-WIFI connection state, a patch video can be additionally played, such that the audience range of the patch video is expanded, and an application range is relatively wide.
