Abstract:

Disclosed are a path data deletion method, and a message forwarding data and apparatus. By means of a controller, an identifier of an invalid path can be acquired from a network node on the invalid path. According to a first network node providing the identifier of the invalid path and the identifier of the invalid path, a second network node on the invalid path can at least be determined. By sending a path deletion message to the second network node, the second network node can delete originally stored path data irrelevant to the invalid path. The second network node is prevented from wasting storage space by storing invalid path data. Since residual invalid path data in a network node can be cleared with the help of a controller, the periodic synchronisation of path data of the network node is possible when an RSVP-TE mechanism is shut down. Moreover, since path data of invalid paths that can be residual is cleared from a network node, the possible occurrence of exceptional data forwarding is avoided, and the stability of a system is improved.
