Abstract:

This path selection device selects, in a sensor tree composed of a plurality of nodes, a path for transmission of a sensor report stored in a packet to a superior node from an inferior node, the path selection device comprising a node moving unit. The node moving unit selects a first node that retains a child node in a subordinate position in the sensor tree. If the total number of packets sent and received in the sensor tree decreases when a second node, which is in a subordinate position in a sub-tree that has the first node as a peak, is moved to a position subordinate to a third node which does not belong to the sub-tree, the node moving unit moves the second node to the position subordinate to the third node.
