Abstract:
The present invention relates to a patterned light guide plate which includes a light guide member, the surface of which is treated with plasma by using a reactive gas formed of a fluorine-containing gas, and a plurality of domed lenses which are formed of an ultraviolet curing composition discharged and cured on the surface of the light guide member; and to an improved method for manufacturing the patterned light guide plate. According to the present invention, the contact angle of the domed lens is substantially higher than the contact angle obtained through the typical method for manufacturing an inkjet-type patterned light guide plate while the ink spreads across the treated surface of the light guide member for several seconds. Thus, a decrease in the contact angle is prevented and the contact angle of the lens is improved for high levels of brightness and brightness uniformity.
