Abstract:
This payment assistance device (1) comprises: an authentication control unit (11) that controls biometric authentication on the basis of a photographic image of a prescribed user photographed at a payment location; a determination unit (12) that, when biometric authentication has succeeded, determines display information on the basis of qualification information related to a service application associated with the biometric information of the user for whom biometric authentication succeeded; and a display control unit (13) that causes the determined display information to be displayed in a position corresponding to the user in the photographic image displayed on a display device installed at the payment location.
