Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to pay for not only products self-registered by an information terminal, but also products additionally registered by a payment device, collectively as a single commercial transaction. This payment device is provided with a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, and a payment unit. The first acquisition unit acquires information about products on the basis of data regarding the products as entered via an input device. The second acquisition unit acquires stored information about products from an external system on the basis of data regarding the products as entered via an information terminal. The payment unit performs payment on the basis of the product information acquired by the first acquisition unit and the second acquisition unit.
