Abstract:
[Problem] To enable a user to purchase products that do not actually exist in a physical store as well as products that actually exist in the store to improve convenience for the user, and enable the user to sufficiently check products that do not actually exist in the store and sufficiently have a real feeling of purchasing such products in a similar manner to products that actually exist in the store. [Solution] The virtual product sales area controller controls MR glasses worn by a user to display virtual products, which are virtual objects, so as to be superimposed in a store in a real space, and detects an operation of selecting a virtual product by the user. Then, in response to the operation of selecting a virtual product by the user, a checkout stand 1 controls the MR glasses to display a virtual product 201 so as to be superimposed on a tray in the real space side-by-side with a real product 211 placed on the tray 41, and settles the payment of the virtual product as well as the real product.
